The following steps provide an overview of how to install the Conga Query Manager and the general steps involved in deploying the application.
To install Conga Query Manager:

Click the appropriate link to install Conga Query Manager in your Salesforce environment:
Conga Query Manager is included in the Conga Composer Release 8 package so does not require a separate installation. However, if you are using Conga Composer Release 7 and require the use of SOQL queries, please contact a Conga Business Analyst.
Follow the on-screen prompts to install Conga Query Manager. (You must provide system administrator credentials to install an application from the AppExchange.) Be sure to “Deploy” the object at the end of the installation.

Set the default access to the object by choosing:
Setup > Security Controls > Sharing Settings

Click .

Set the Conga Query object to .

Click .

On the Salesforce Setup page, choose , then .

Enable the recommended Behavior Modification settings.
In particular, you should enable Query Object Name Correction.

The installation is complete. You’re now ready to build a Query record and include it in a Conga Composer button.
